Every style ships as a fixed, ready-to-wear product rather than something manufactured against an individual’s eye exam results. Nothing in the PROSPEK line is dispensed by an optometrist or ground to a patient-specific lens formula. Where the line does add optical function is reading magnification. Many styles offer it in a range from +0.50 to +3.00, with the hero style available in nine separate strengths, and some frames are also sold with no magnification at all for people who want the lens coating without any reading power. Why reading magnification is not a prescription

The clear PROSPEK lens has been independently measured by COLTS Laboratories (report O-SPG111015, A2LA-accredited to ISO/IEC 17025, spectral transmittance tested per ANSI Z80.3): 91.6% visible (photopic) light transmission, with UVA and UVB each filtered above 99.99%. That high visible-light transmission is what makes the lens read near-clear rather than tinted, on paper or on a screen - it has nothing to do with the reading magnification some styles add. ANSI Z80.3, the standard behind that transmittance testing, covers light transmittance and lens color. It does not test or certify the accuracy of a reading power. PROSPEK does not describe any style as “ANSI certified” for its magnification, and no PROSPEK product should be read as standards-tested for optical correction accuracy - only the light-transmittance and color properties of the lens are covered by that standard.
